WCI purchases grain through a straight cash spot bid which is quoted to the producer by one of our qualified grain buyers/merchants. This price is determined by what the market can bear in relation to WCI ongoing contracts with our end users. Our competitive prices for grain stems down to our extensive truck logistics department which allows WCI to offer competitive prices for grain picked up at the bin.
